WHAT IS IT
A special foundation solution for difficult terrain.
Micropiles are small-diameter foundation elements, up to 250mm, used when direct foundations are not suitable for the terrain or when the loads to be transmitted require a more robust solution.
Micropiles are installed by drilling and injecting cement grout, and can be tubular or made of metal profiles. Riasonda performs micropiles using its own equipment, in new foundation projects, reinforcement of existing foundations, and stabilization of structures.

Types of execution
Two solutions, chosen based on the project and the terrain.
Tubular Micropiles
Construction using a recoverable or lost metal pipe, injected with cement grout. A versatile solution for most special foundation projects.
Micropiles in Metal Profiles
Driving metal profiles into the ground without the need for drilling or injection. Faster execution, especially suitable for solar power plants and lightweight structures.
Applications
New foundations, reinforcement of existing structures, and energy projects.
Fundações de edifícios em terrenos com baixa capacidade de carga
Reinforcement and rehabilitation of existing foundations.
Stabilization of structures at risk or undergoing rehabilitation works.
Slope containment and support
Installation of structures for photovoltaic parks.
Construction work in areas with difficult access for large equipment.
